So, who watched The Bletchley Circle yesterday? We were really impressed at how authentically '40s everything looked. It must have cost a lot to clear St Pancras station! Richard reckons they shot the outside shop scenes at The Black Country Museum but as we haven't been for years can't be sure. There was a hint of a What Katie Did Harlow Bullet Bra worn by Rachael Stirling but that was about it. I can assure you that all the cast wore What Katie Did Retro Seamed Nylons, but - oh I really shouldn't be telling you this - I'm afraid most of them were seamed tights. We did try to push seamed stockings on the costume department and finally they relented ordering a pair for the murdered prostitute!

I went to the Black Country Living Museum a couple of weeks ago. Hadn't been for ages, either, and they've now got a 1930s street, complete with gentleman's outfitters. So maybe they did film it there - apparently they film Poirot there sometimes!
