Seamed stockings and Pantyhose
Way back in 1999 when What Katie Did was founded, we only sold stockings. Nylons are still our first love and our collection is a must for every pin up girl, whether you choose affordable, every day, retro seamed stockings, or luxurious fully fashioned stockings, which are still made on vintage machines.
Our seamed stockings are made in France by a factory that knits stockings for the couture fashion houses. Each pair is made from non-stretch nylon and features a classic stitched seam and point heel.
Each pair is truly luxurious, but for the genuinely vintage feel and look, our fully fashioned stockings are the best on the market. Made in England and France on vintage Reading machines, they are the real deal; the kind every woman wanted to get their hands on during the Second World War, when everything was scarce.

Our retro seamed hosiery products are made in Italy and are priced perfectly for everyday wear. Retro seamed stockings and contrast seamed stockings are available, but for those times when practicality is an issue, our seamed pantyhose will see you right.
And if you’re looking for a slightly more 1960s look, our seam free stockings are just the ticket. Made in the same couture house factory in France as our seamed stockings, these will lend a touch of glamour to any look.
