A couple of years ago I picked up a vintage hosiery storage bag at the War and Peace Show. Since then I've found it invaluable for keeping delicate nylons safe: especially when travelling.

On my last visit to our factory I took it along and we've now made our own version. The outside is black satin, with a black ribbon tie, the inside is peach satin with two sheer peach pockets so you can see exactly what is inside. The bag is slightly padded to give it a luxurious feel, but squashes down flat to fit in your suitcase.
