Although thongs weren't common in the 1950s, they were certainly a key item in burlesque artistes' lingerie drawers! We were inspired to add a version to our Maitresse collection in homage to those glamorous vintage queens of the striptease.

Lower-rise than the deep Maitresse panties, the thong features a satin section at the front and a discreet but cheeky frill around the top, whilst the rest of the garment is stretchy powermesh to ensure a comfortable fit.

What Katie Did uses traditional sizing which is smaller than modern size charts, our thongs, in particular, do tend to come up a little small. Our sizes are cut to fit:

Size 6 - 25" waist, 35" hip
Size 8 - 27" waist, 37" hip
Size 10 - 29" waist, 39" hip
Size 12 - 31" waist, 41" hip
Size 14 - 33" waist, 43" hip
