Our newest underbust style, Baby, is a little 7 inch-deep waist cincher designed to be worn under clothes. It's directly inspired by Christian Dior's Spring/Summer 1947 collection, which went down in fashion history as the 'New Look'. It was all about large busts, tiny waists and full hips, and his mannequins were all tightly laced into boned waist-nippers to achieve that incredibly dramatic silhouette. Baby's clever cut allows the waist to be substantially reduced in a natural-looking curved shape (unlike a wide cinching belt, which creates a straight middle section) resulting in a smooth line under clothing. It's designed to suit most body shapes, and its small size makes it incredibly comfortable and easy to wear on a day-to-day basis, with no restriction of movement. Perfect if you want something a bit more heavy-duty than our Glamour waist cincher. We don't recommend using our standard detachable garters with this corset as they will be too short! Baby is kept in stock in black, but in the unlikely event of it showing as 'out of stock', the delay should only be a few days. Other colours are to order, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery. |

* Specialist dry clean What Katie Did corsets are made up of several layers: base fabric: 100% cotton twill, 100% cotton lining fabric, an internal waist stay and the face (or fashion) fabric. A combination of spiral and flat steel boning is used. Two piece grommets and washers are used at the back, placed between boning, whilst all of our corsets feature a steel busk at the front. Measurements:

These corsets are designed to work hard and reduce your waist by up to 5 inches. Please deduct 4 to 5 inches from your normal waist measurement to work out your corset size: a natural waist of 28 inches will give a corset size of 24 inches, whilst a natural waist size of 31 inches will give a corset size of 26 inches.
