For our Cabaret corsets range, we set about giving our best-selling Gina underbust a rather majestic makeover in plush velvet. The thick and tactile fabric is the perfect complement to the whisper-thin and scandalously sheer Cabaret lingerie!

Gina was the very first corset we designed and it was an instant hit with our fabulous customers, so much so that it remains totally unchanged to this day! Its enduring popularity is thanks to its gentle but curvaceous shape that appeals to corset wearers new and experienced alike. It makes the perfect base for a burlesque costume or as part of a magnificently regal outfit: you'll have your subjects falling at your feet!

A true classic, reinvented in a beautifully rich fabric, the Cabaret Velvet Gina is available in imperial purple, ruby red and midnight black velvet.

Please do check availability as we tend to make Cabaret corsets to order. We also don't recommend you use our detachable garters with Gina as they will be too short.

What Katie Did corsets are made up of several layers: base fabric: 100% cotton twill, 100% cotton lining fabric, an internal waist stay and the face (or fashion) fabric. A combination of spiral and flat steel boning is used. Two piece grommets and washers are used at the back, placed between boning, whilst all of our corsets feature a steel busk at the front.

These corsets are designed to work hard and reduce your waist by up to 4 inches. Please deduct 3 to 4 inches from your normal waist measurement to work out your corset size: a natural waist of 28 inches will give a corset size of 24 inches, whilst a natural waist size of 29 inches will give a corset size of 26 inches.
This garment is suitable for most figure shapes.

If you like one of our corset shapes, but would like it in a different fabric or colour this is possible. We are able to custom make any of our corset designs in any of the fabrics we hold in stock. Please email us the style name, fabric and colour you require and we will get back to you with a quote.
