We've once again looked to the magnificence of showgirls' costumes in the Golden Era for inspiration, and created a luxurious overbust corset that's truly fit for a queen.

This thoroughly regal Cabaret version of our best-selling Sophia corset uses the same gently yet voluptuously curved shape, but is realised in beautifully soft and opulent velvet. It features our famous shaped sweetheart bust, which will give just the right amount of uplift and support for A-E cup breasts, and our non-gored hips, which work perfectly for both modern and vintage figures, resulting in an hourglass figure that's neither too extreme, nor too subtle to escape notice – just perfectly formed and contained curves!

In stately scarlet, royal purple and rich black velvet, whether you're a queen of the burlesque stage, a queen in the boudoir, or simply the queen of all you survey, nothing will make you feel more majestic than the Cabaret Velvet Sophia.

What Katie Did corsets are made up of several layers: base fabric: 100% cotton twill, 100% cotton lining fabric, an internal waist stay and the face (or fashion) fabric. A combination of spiral and flat steel boning is used. Two piece grommets and washers are used at the back, placed between boning, whilst all of our corsets feature a steel busk at the front.

These corsets are designed to work hard and reduce your waist by up to 4 inches. Please deduct 3 to 4 inches from your normal waist measurement to work out your corset size: a natural waist of 28 inches will give a corset size of 24 inches, whilst a natural waist size of 29 inches will give a corset size of 26 inches.
